Biography
Born in 1986 and originally from Pozza di Fassa, Stefano Gross was introduced to skiing at just three years of age. He went on to become one of the best Italian slalom skiers of recent years, his lifelong dream.
In 2005, he made his debut at the junior world championships and the European Cup, while his World Cup debut came three years later. To date, Stefano boasts twelve podiums and one victory, scored in the slalom in Adelboden, Switzerland, in January 2015. As a child he played other sports such as hockey, while now he trains with a racing bike along the Dolomite passes. Skiing is his whole life and he considers it the most beautiful sport, despite the cruelty and complexity that it can sometimes involve.
